An unfortunate incident decommissioned this fog light mount, and instead of ordering a probably reasonably priced plastic replacement, I spent a few hours trying to recreate this part in SolidWorks.
The OEM part from Ford was injection molded with PP-GF40 (polypropylene with 40% fiber glass) which could be easily replaced with 3D printed PA6-CF (Nylon 6 with 20% carbon fiber) and be sturdy with less bracing.
